POSSIBLE REINCARNATION This case involves two physicians, one now living in Croatia and the other who lived during and fought in the American Civil War.
Hunter McGuire, MD
Hunter McGuire was born on October 10, 1835 in the Commonwealth of Virginia in the United States and died on November 19,1900. Andrija Hebrang was born on January 27, 1946 in Croatia, then in Yugoslavia, and is still alive.
Based on the significant biographic information now available on Hunter McGuire, it is possible to compare his personality with that of Andrija Hebrang. Such a comparison is made to determine if the hypothesized factors that make up the "soul genome" have expressed themselves in similar proportions in both men. In this case, one can say that it is possible to see in Andrija's life the same patterns of thinking, feeling, interacting with others, and creativity that appeared in Hunter's.
In cerebrotype terms, both men have a high IQ and (in their professional medical careers and their public lives) exhibit a very rational way of thinking, ready to experiment and look at the big picture. While they are impulsive, they tend to stick to a conservative, scientific (materialist) perspective. Both want to deal with facts and see the evidence before they accept new ideas.
In emotional (egotype) matters both are confident about themselves and their ideas. While each has a temperamental streak, they remain cool in a crisis. Somewhat manic in behavior (taking on a lot of things at once), they are optimistic and determined to succeed.
In dealing with other people (performatype), both tend toward detachment, even arrogant on occasion, but are solicitous toward those they serve. Each is a strong leader and committed to friends.
Their creative profiles (as measured by vocational interest tests) rate highest in science, social programs, education, and medicine. These areas are reflected in their careers.
Both were precocious medical students (starting in their teens) and became medical professors in their 20's. As physicians (McGuire as surgeon and Hebrang as anesthesiologist), they were involved in civil wars in their countries providing medical services for combatants and civilians alike.
Both were strong nationalists struggling on the side of independence as "civil (medical) soldiers." This led both to be active in the post-war recovery period. Each became prominent in public service, building medical and healthcare institutions.
In their public lives, they were not hesitant to express anger at perceived transgressions by opponents of their plans. However, with age and experience they became more mellow, enabling them to receive honors for valuable careers.
Using the biometric-measurement protocol described on this site and in The Soul Genome, current photos of Hebrang and 19th-century photographs of McQuire were compared to evaluate the level of correspondence between the bone structure of the two men. The level of variance between the two sets of eye-socket ratios was only .005. The nose dimensions' variance was .005. The face width-length ratios varied .01. The average variance of the six measures/three ratios was .02.
When compared with a random sample of 132 sets of comparable measurements, the level of confidence that such a small difference between the two men could be attibuted to chance was only one chance out of a hundred. When one adds the similarities of hair patterns and ear forms to the picture, the chance of similar genomes being due to some mechanism other than coincidence is even higher.
When the high level of physical correspondences are combined with the above described personality traits that are very similar, it suggests that the two men have very similar soul genomes or even the same psychoplasm. This is a strong case for reincarnation.
ANOTHER CROATIAN-AMERICAN REINCARNATION CASE
Jadrenka Kosor and "JK-Anon"
The Anonymous "JK" was reportedly born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - USA in 1920 and died in the Midwestern United States on April 27, 1952. Jadranke Kosor was born in Pakrac, Croatia on July 1, 1953 and still lives in Croatia.
Anon JK had an untimely death at age 32 (an accident involving the car she was driving with her family). Some believe such accidents may lead to quick reincarnations. In any event, Jadranke was born a year and two months later. She has no children and is not married in this lifetime.
This case depends largely on biometric measurements (some of the closest found among even the most robust cases) and inferences from the limited amount of biographic detail available on Anon JK. The early years of both women suggest a compatible personality profile.
Both have an egotype that demonstrates considerable independence and confidence. Both have a risk-taking trait. Each is clearly comfortable with older men and children. Their interpersonal style is very sociable, extroverted, and humanitarian in nature. (Anon JK volunteered in the USO theatre program to entertain American servicemen during WW II.)
Jadranke is clearly competitive and enjoys team efforts. One can reasonably infer Anon JK had a similar outgoing and active life in her few adult years. Both are of the artistic performatype, enjoying music, dance and theatre. One cannot say what Anon JK would have done professionally had she time to develop, but Jadranke has excelled in journalism and politics.
From Jadranke's interests and performance, we can conclude the psychoplasm is highly intelligent, with an analytic mind, but able to see the big picture. She, and likely Anon JK, also has an intuitive way of thinking to balance her rational bent.
The eye-ratio variance between Anon JK and Kosor is less than one percent, or almost zero. The nose bone structures of both women has a variance of .03. The face width-and-length ratio variance is .02. The average variance in these six dimensions is only .016, resulting in a level of confidence close to .0003. This means only three chances in a thousand exists that the similarities result by accident.
The ear/head ratios have a variance of 11/2 % and the hair patterns are very similar. This means that if all other factors support this match, it can be considered a very robust case that challenges the notion that these two lifetimes share their similarities by simple coincidence.
